Dubulti

A unique and architecturally exceptional property is for sale in the very heart of Jūrmala, in Dubulti. This house is an outstanding investment opportunity for those who appreciate historical charm, refined architecture, and a premium location right by the sea. The building was constructed in the 1930s and commissioned by Žanis Celms, the legendary entrepreneur of Latvia’s first independent state and owner of the “Latvijas raugs” factory. The house was designed in an expressive Romantic style, incorporating the elegant and cozy elements of “Swiss houses,” or so-called “Alpine summer homes.” The building’s facade and silhouette are adorned with the pronounced roof overhangs characteristic of Jūrmala’s wooden architecture, as well as delicate, decorative wood carvings, which lend the property a unique charm and cultural-historical value.
The spacious and bright building is functionally arranged over three floors, offering a wide range of uses—whether as an exclusive family residence, a premium-class guesthouse, or an apartment building.
First and second floors: a total of 10 spacious rooms with convenient auxiliary spaces. Each floor features thoughtfully arranged bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen areas, ensuring complete self-sufficiency.
Basement: A spacious and practical basement suitable for utility rooms, storage, a wine cellar, or a private relaxation area, including a sauna.
Utilities—the property features modern and energy-efficient gas heating, as well as all municipal utilities, ensuring maximum comfort year-round.
Surroundings and Location — right on the waterfront, just a few steps from the white-sand beach and pine-covered dunes. The property is surrounded by a large, green garden that offers complete privacy, tranquility, and a place to relax in the fresh air.
The property is located in a strategically excellent location — just a few minutes’ walk away are the Dubulti train station (the “Dubulti” Art Station) and the Jūrmala residence of the President of Latvia, ensuring a well-maintained, safe, and prestigious surrounding environment.
This house is a rarity on the Jūrmala real estate market—it offers the opportunity to become part of Latvia’s architectural heritage while enjoying all the benefits of modern comfort in the seaside dunes.
